I left in 1988 and have been back in the education system to retrain as an Art and Design teacher. It appears that the teachers I had back then were more inspirational than I thought!

Hi Class of 1996! I'm organising a reunion this year. I've provisionally booked Saturday, June 18th at the school from 1-3pm for drinks, nibbles, a possible tour, and reminiscing. It'd be great if we could get as many past 1996 leavers to attend as possible. We will head into a venue in town afterwards (yet undecided where). We would love it if our teachers from 1991-1996 could also attend. There is a Facebook page set up called Class of 1996, Henry Beaufort School reunion. So please join this or get in touch with me at smgibson15@hotmail.com. Hope to see you there! All the best, Sue

I was wondering if mrs Leigh is still in contact with the school? I left in 1991 and she was my tutor and English teacher for 5 years. Some of our class are planning a reunion and if she is still with us we would love to invite her to join us. Either way would love to know what happened to jet after we all left. Thanks.

I left Henry Beaufort in 1992 and have to say that I feel very fortunate to have gone to such an exceptional school. Thanks to the time and support of the teachers, (Mrs Miller in particular), I managed to follow my dream of gaining a place at a London Drama School and carving out a career in the acting business. I have nothing but praise for Henry Beaufort. .......my last message should have been 5 stars not 1... please can you update my rating? Thank You!

Happy Memories of Henry B. I left HB in 1980, My Sister Ann, had left three years previously and at the tender age of 16 I joined the Army, Now 31 yrs later I am leaving it and returning to Winchester, it will be interesting to see what hasn't changed! I'm finding it hard to come up with names of Teachers (Miss Palmer comes to mind, though)but I do remember members of 1E to 5E.. Diane and Wendy Churchyard,Raymond Twine, Simon Ferguson, Sally Field, Deborah Norton, Sally Crump, Big David Ballemy..wow even surprised myself. It's really strange that my daughter might be going there in a years time...Loved the Chemistry, Rugby and English. Still can't beleive this dyslexic was a librarian who became (eventually) an Officer!...go figure!

Started when the school was brand new in 1972 and left in 1977. I have many fond memories and received a great education which prepared me well for what lay ahead!
