Community

OUR ROLE IN THE COMMUNITY

The Henry Beaufort School is supported by Hampshire County Council to promote learning, sporting and leisure opportunities for the local community. The provision of quality facilities, courses and activities for all ages is the core of our community mission. Every evening, weekend and holiday the school opens its doors and grounds to community users and it's possible to find activities as diverse as Circuit Training, Exercise Classes, retirement Club, Dance, Football Coaching, Cookery, Winchester Area Schools Orchestra and Art Club.

WORKING TOGETHER WITH OUR COMMUNITY

At Henry Beaufort we aim to be the natural hub for continuous lifelong learning in the community by building on the school's value of ‘equal opportunities to fulfil potential' and provide a range of learning to multiple age, social and cultural groups in the community. We extend our value of ‘partnership' into the community both as a provider of services and as a key employer and we continue to develop links with other community organisations.
