New outdoor canopies

The school would like to thank the Henry Beaufort Association (HBA) and all the parents who helped to raise funds for two new outdoor seating areas with canopies for our students. The association has been able to donate a large sum of money thanks to the generosity of parents who make regular donations by covenants and by supporting events such as the Year 7 disco and Quiz Night.

The Chair of Governors, Alan Brookes, said:“Henry Beaufort School is privileged to have such generous and supportive parents in the HBA.  The Association has just given the school a cheque for an astonishing £10,476, This covers the cost of these magnificent canopies that will be used and enjoyed by hundreds of current and future Henry Beaufort students.  The Governors are well aware of the tremendous amount of work that has gone into the fundraising and are extremely grateful for the assistance that parents have given, and continue to give, to the school.”

The Henry Beaufort Association Treasurer, Mr Vinay Narang, added: “We organise the events but, without the support from parents, we would not be able to raise these funds.”
