Last Friday we were pleased to welcome Rosie Sharkey from Trinity College Cambridge to speak to students in Year 10 and 11.  Her role is in Schools Liaison and she spoke about applying to university.  She talked about the advantages of going to university and about the importance of researching and choosing the right courses, both for A level and at university.

Last Friday we were pleased to welcome Rosie Sharkey from Trinity College Cambridge to speak to students in year 10 and 11.  Her role is in Schools Liaison and she spoke about applying to university.  She talked about the advantages of going to university - even with fees at the current level - and about the importance of researching and choosing the right courses, both for A level and at university.

She spoke generally about the particular requirements of Russell Group Universities and about applying to Cambridge.  For parents who are are interested, we recommend visiting the Trinity College website at www.trin.cam.ac.uk
