Sainsbury's Bag Pack

Students from Henry Beaufort spent time at Sainsbury's raising money for the Magic Wand Appeal, on Saturday 9th March. The students did really well and Mrs Arnold was delighted when members of the public told her how polite and well mannered the students were. They raised nearly £450 which is a brilliant start to their fundraising campaign.

The staff from Sainsbury's all thanked the students and said they could come back at any time. Thank you to all of the students involved who did such a great job, but special thanks to Becky Hemming, Dan Rodd and Jack Davis who all did more than three hours and an extra special thanks to James Rodd who did the whole six hours.

A member of the public emailed the school in response to the bag pack:

Today I visited Sainsbury's Badger Farm, Winchester to do the weekly shop! At the checkout I was greeted by one of your pupils asking to bag pack. When I spoke to the lad he was full of enthusiasm for the cause he was raising money for and very confident and polite in his manner. I hope my donation will help towards your goal of assisting the Magic Wand Appeal. I see from your website that you have a non uniform day on Monday, I wish you well with the fund raising from that and the bag pack today.

These pupils were a credit to their parents and your school.
