Eddie Baker, a member of the after-school club Beaufort Box Office, has recently been rewarded for his analysis of Academy Award-winning film Man on Wire.

man on wire posterEddie's review, which can be seen online here, was written after a recent after-school screening of the film and was submitted to the FILMCLUB website in competition with many students across the UK.

FILMCLUB is a nationwide and government funded scheme that opens up the world of cinema to schools and colleges all across the UK, allowing Henry Beaufort access to a huge library of films and a license for public screening. The aim of the scheme is to give students the chance to view and discuss a wide variety of films from all over the world, offering the opportunity to write reviews every week with the chance of winning prizes.

Eddie’s prize for FILMCLUB’s Review of the Week (23rd-29th March 09) is a collection of DVDs which he will receive after the Easter break.

Congratulations!
