Shoebox Appeal 2015

The Henry Beaufort School are proud to support the Rotary Charity Shoebox Appeal. This year students have been discussing the appeal in tutor groups and many have been working in their mixed age teams to produce a group shoebox.  We also welcome any shoeboxes produced by individual students or their friends and family.

If you would like to contribute to the appeal, please fill a shoebox with suitable new or nearly new items for a disadvantaged child living in Albania, Montenegro, Moldova or the Philippines.  There are leaflets available electronically on the school website, at reception or from your child’s tutor, but boxes may be produced without the leaflet and our team of volunteers will fill in the leaflet at school on your behalf.

Suggested items include:

·         Small soft toy

·         Pens, pencils & notepad

·         Washbag

·         Soap

·         Toothbrush & toothpaste

·         Toys requiring no batteries, e.g. lego

·         Ball

·         T-shirt

·         Socks

Please do not include any foods, liquids, sharp items or war /religious related items.

A £1 coin to cover the cost of transport should be taped to the top of the box.

All boxes need to be sent to Mrs Hill by Monday 19th October.
