The Department of Education 2019 Progress 8 scores have been released and we are delighted with our Progress 8 score of 0.25. This places The Henry Beaufort School in the  'Above Average' rating for secondary schools nationally (only 17% of all schools receive this rating) and puts the School in the top ten of all schools in Hampshire for Progress 8.

    Non-Uniform Day – 25 October 2019

On Friday 25th October 2019 we are holding a non-uniform day to raise money for Children in Need by donating £1. Please note additional donations are most welcome. All donations should be given to your child’s tutor in morning registration on the day. You may opt out of this if you wish by wearing normal school uniform for which no donation is expected but always welcome.

Children in Need appeal week is 11th – 15th  November 2019, however this falls within our Year 11 Mock period so we have chosen to hold our non-uniform event at this time instead. As a school we have pledged to raise £1000 and all donations on the day will be given to this cause. Further details on the cause can be found here https://www.bbcchildreninneed.co.uk/.

Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the school day. We politely remind parents and students that this is an opportunity to wear something different. It is not a fashion show and we expect the usual standards of dress by covering the body appropriately for the school environment. On this occasion fancy dress is not appropriate. Please consider this to avoid us sending students home to change or be placed into isolation.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support with this charity.

    Yours sincerely

    Mrs Scott

    Senior Deputy Headteacher
