The practitioners at Henrys Kindergarten have many years’ experience between them, creating a fun, varied and stimulating place for children to be.
Our aim is to provide an enabling environment which is a safe and comfortable place for children to explore, optimising the learning opportunities for each individual child. We pride ourselves on the consistency of our staff with many of the team having been here for over 10 years and recognise that training is an important part of maintaining the highest standards and quality of teaching and care. Therefore staff regularly attend in house training on INSET days and staff meetings as well as being trained in areas such as safeguarding, first aid, food hygiene and other relevant qualifications. All permanent staff also hold a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare.
Each child is assigned a key carer, whom is responsible for ensuring the smooth communication about the individual child and their needs and maintaining continuity of care between home and nursery.
The Nursery Management team are Laura Fisher (Manager), and Sara Leamon (Deputy Manager) and they are supported by Klara Powell (Admin Assistant) and Julie Potter (Finance).
