Trips
At The Henry Beaufort School we believe that a well-balanced education includes opportunities to develop a student’s cultural capital. We take pride in running a large number of enrichment trips as part of the curriculum and also offer additional enrichment opportunities outside the curriculum.
Typical Residential Trips include:
-
Ski Trip- France- April (Easter holidays)- aimed at Year 9/10 students*
-
PGL Netball and Football Weekend - March - aimed at Year 7, 8, 9 & 10 students
-
Germany, Italy or Finland as part of the Erasmus+ project (See Miss Wilson for more details). Erasmus + is a project funded by the European Union. This is a school exchange programme, which involves ongoing project work between The Henry Beaufort School and our partner schools in Germany, Italy and Finland. Over the 2-year period of a project, we visit each these countries and host a visit to Winchester. To view Erasmus+ information please click here.
-
Battlefields - Belgium - October half-term- aimed at Year 10 students
*usually runs every two years, depending on staff availability during holidays.
Enrichment Week
Enrichment Week is when the school timetable is suspended, and we are able to arrange activities which can extend and enrich the curriculum for all students both in and out of school

You will see the full range of activities that students have been encouraged to be part of in this academic year at The Henry Beaufort School.
As the impact of Covid eases and restrictions begin to lift we look forward to being able to offer more culturally enriching opportunities both locally, within the UK and abroad.
