Expressive Arts

Expressive Arts provision in schools is high on the agenda for the government.

The Henry Beaufort School has always placed an emphasis on expressive arts education, which is currently focused on the final preparations for their whole school production, ‘Everybody’s Talking about Jamie.’

So highly valued is this commitment to the expressive arts that the school have teamed up with Theatre Royal Winchester for three performances of the production on the 22nd to the 24th of January 2025.

Sue Hearle Headteacher said, ‘our performing arts space in our purpose built

expressive arts centre is ideally suited to nurturing and encouraging talent, and I am delighted that we are showcasing this at the Theatre Royal in January 2025. So many of our young people have become involved, demonstrating their confidence and resilience to perform in front of a Winchester theatre audience.’

Everybody’s talking about Jamie will be shown in The Theatre Royal, Winchester on the following dates

  • Wednesday 22nd January 2025
  • Thursday 23rd January 2025
  • Friday 24th January 2025

Tickets will be available soon from the Theatre Royal, Winchester box office.
