A 13-year-old girl has achieved an impressive GCSE result – having taken a French exam three years early.
The Henry Beaufort School pupil Élise was awarded a Grade 8 in French.
She began learning the language at age four while at St Jerome Bilingual School in Harrow, by singing French songs.
Élise said: “All the other people doing GCSE French early have French parents.

“Gaining exam experience this early is going to help me when I take my other GCSEs.”
