Looking forward to Year 7 Learning day, Friday 5th September.  All years in school from Monday 8th September

Uniform & Equipment

The New uniform

We are excited to announce the launch of a new school uniform for Year 7 students starting at The Henry Beaufort School in September 2025. The new uniform features a navy colour scheme and an updated school jumper. This uniform will be available from Stevensons from June 2025 and will be compulsory for all new Year 7 students.

For current Year 8-11 students, the uniform will remain the same, with the royal blue colour scheme. If replacement uniforms are needed, they can still be ordered from the uniform shop.

The new uniform will be gradually phased in, and once the stock from Stevensons is depleted, students will be advised to order the new uniform equivalent.

The supplier for The Henry Beaufort School uniform is Stevensons. Uniform is purchased directly from the supplier for delivery to your home.

Please note our PE uniform has now changed. See the details in the uniform booklet below

You can order our PE kit directly from Stevensons. Please find the details in the link provided.

Please note that a box pleat skirt can be purchased from Stevensons  or a pleated alternative from Marks and Spencer’s product name Easy Dressing Skirt style number T76/0113. Please click here. Full school uniform should be worn at all times including travel to and from school.

Makeup

Make-up (including nail varnish, nail extensions and false eyelashes) should not be worn at all by students.

Jewellery

A maximum of one small ear-stud in each ear. One plain ring on one hand only.

Hair

As a Health and Safety measure, long hair should be tied back from the face during practical lessons. This applies to both boys and girls. No extreme hair styles or colours are permissible e.g. two-tone hair colour.

Bags

Bags should be of a suitable size, that is appropriate for day to day use.

PE Kit

All students are expected to wear PE kit correctly and appropriately for the activity that they are studying. Relevant safety/ protection equipment must also be worn should the activity demand it e.g. shin pads and gum shields

Where a student is ill or injured, a parental/guardian note should be read and signed by the member of staff. Students are expected to change into their PE kit, unless it is inappropriate to do so (e.g. in a cast/ on crutches etc) or if it would have a detrimental impact on the students health and well being.  Another role is expected to be found for the student in the lesson, for example a coach, official or organiser.

The PE Kit is an extension of a student’s uniform; it is therefore an essential piece of equipment that students require to access their learning. The expectation for what kit should be worn is:

Students playing rugby PE.
