Stop Press! Top ten school for second year running

Recent national data, provided by Fisher Family Trust, indicates that when academic progress is measured HB is in the top 10% in the country.

The school is celebrating another year of academic success.  Recent national data, provided by Fisher Family Trust, indicates that when academic progress is measured HB is in the top 10% in the country.  This is for the second year running and fully reflects the school ethos to ensure students of all abilities gain excellent 'personal best' results. A source of particular pride is that 96% of students gained a GCSE equivilent pass with 100% of students gaining 5 GCSE qualifications or more. The data indicates that when you look at the academic progress (value added) of students over the past three years, both boys and girls perform at a similar rate bucking the national trend.  In additon, our gifted and talented students, who gain 5 or more A*/A grades, make one of the highest rates of progress.

Congratulations to all the students and thank you to the staff who are so dedicated in supporting all students.
