On Thursday 13 June, Henry Beaufort's Amnesty International Youth Group organised and ran an ‘Amnestea’ bake sale, where they sold a huge variety of cakes, drinks and chocolates.

All their hard work was to raise money for Amnesty International on behalf of Women of Zimbabwe Arise. This African civil movement aims to provide women from all walks of life with the ability to stand up for their rights and freedoms, and to empower female leadership. Women of Zimbabwe Arise also campaigns for basic human rights for men.

The bake sale exceeded all expectations and the students quickly surpassed their target of £200.
