Miss Hearle, Headteacher said ‘I am delighted for our students who have demonstrated commitment and resilience in the face of the tough challenges that accompany GCSE studies. The dedication of the Henry Beaufort staff to each and every one of their students has been a key factor in the many successes we are enjoying today. Four years ago the school introduced a new learning ethos that focuses on the core skills of resilience, resourcefulness and mutual learning. These skills were introduced in recognition of the changes to examination structures and the increasing emphasis on end of Year 11 exams. Our students' results confirm the success of this learning ethos which we will continue to build on in order to prepare our students for the requirements of the new GCSE exams’.
The school is also celebrating excellent early entry results for Year 10 students with a 100% A* to B pass rate for English Literature and 77% for Science.
