For parents and carers of children with additional needs

Hampshire Parent Carer Network is offering parents and carers the chance to attend a free one-day training course delivered by IPSEA on 7th March 2016 at the Basingstoke Discovery Centre. 

IPSEA is a registered charity providing advice and support to parents of children with special needs regarding local authorities' legal obligations to ensure children get the right education. 

 

Venue:  Basingstoke Discovery Centre, Festival Place Shopping Centre, Basingstoke, RG21 7LS

Date: 7th March 2016

Time:  9.30 am - 2.00 pm

 

Refreshments will be provided. Please bring your own lunch.

Car parking: The nearest public car park is Festival Place Shopping Centre Car Park.  The Discovery Centre is located at the 'top end of town' entrance to the shopping centre.

The law - definitions and scope

SEN support in school and college

EHC plans, drafts and what makes a good EHCP

Statutory assessments.
