  • Scholastic Book Fair - 2nd - 4th October 2019

    Published 26/09/19

From Wednesday 2nd October until Friday 4th October 2019 we will be running a Scholastic Book Fair in the Learning Resource Centre at school. We will have a variety of exciting new books on offer for students to browse and purchase starting from just £2.99. There will also be competitions in school over the next week giving students the chance to win vouchers to spend at the Book Fair.

Not only does the Scholastic Book Fair give students the chance to get their hands on some brand new books at excellent prices, every book sold also helps to get free books for the Henry Beaufort School meaning the more books sold the more we can add to our school library.

We are also able to offer all parents the ability to purchase gift vouchers online for their children to spend at the Book Fair. Not only are vouchers an easy and secure way for your child to purchase books, but you can also get 20% extra free with every voucher! That means that a £6 voucher will only cost you £5, a £12 voucher will cost £10 and so on. For information on how to purchase Scholastic Book Fair vouchers please see the attached poster.

If you have any queries or would like to know any more about our Book Fair please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Ireland, Learning Resource Centre Manager by telephoning school reception.

  • Year 10 showcase evening raises money for Children with Cancer UK

    Published 04/09/19

On Friday 28th June the Year 10 GCSE Music class put on a showcase evening in the Drama studio. They had a fantastic audience of 60 appreciative friends and family, who came to watch the students perform solos, ensembles and compositions that they have been working on throughout the year. The students all performed professionally and musically, it was a great evening. There was a collection at the end for Children with Cancer UK, a charity chosen by the year 10 class, where we raised just over £80. Congratulations to everyone involved.
