Cultural Capital Experiences - Trips

At The Henry Beaufort School we believe that a well-balanced education includes opportunities to develop a student’s cultural capital. Cultural Capital opportunities ensure that all students have access to enriching activities that can broaden students’ horizons and equip students with skills that they can use in the future. We take pride in running a large number of trips as part of the curriculum and also offer additional enrichment opportunities outside the curriculum.

Cultural Capital Days: Please see here for the Cultural Capital days programme.

During Cultural Capital Week, the following trips take place:

Year 7

STEM Legoland - Students investigate the history of Lego, design their own Lego mini figures and take part in STEM workshop.

Expressive Arts: Students get the opportunity to work with professional musicians, dramatists and artists, to further develop their understanding and progress in these areas.

Year 8

Expressive Art: Students get the opportunity to visit Southampton Museum and Gallery to immerse themselves in local culture and take part in an art workshop.
