The Henry

Time to Talk Day

Mental health problems affect 1 in 4 people every year, yet too often people are afraid to talk about their experiences because they fear it will affect their jobs or relationships.

This Thursday 4th February, The Henry Beaufort School will be joining in with the rest of the nation, talking about mental health to help end the misconceptions around it, for Time to Talk Day. The aim of the day is to get as many people as possible across England talking about mental health.

During the day, all students will have have two sessions delivered during tutor time, where staff will have access to resources and encourage students to open their minds to mental health. By joining together on one day, we can break the silence that often surrounds mental health, and show that talking about this once-taboo issue doesn’t need to be difficult.
